I really don't know where my time goes when I'm in the states.
As the pictures testify, the house is coming along nicely. Jeff is anxious to get here and see for himself. He arrives the 22nd.
My Mother-in-law has completed all her medical procedures that came out of her mystery weight loss this summer and is feeling great!
And as I said, I'm not sure what I've been up to. I did enjoy a bit of college football the past 2 Saturdays.....

Catch Up

Finally, a bit of time to update my blog. I left Milan on the 23rd, and had a very busy week in Houston. Left Houston on the 28th for Minneapolis, and will leave here on Wednesday.
Most of my focus in Houston was on our new home construction. It was at the 'wiring and plumbing completed and inspected' phase. They were in the process of installing insulation and then beginning sheetrocking. This is a big deal due to our modifications and special requests on insulation. They had not gotten it right the first time, and I wanted to see the pink stuff with my own eyes before they closed up the walls. That did not happen. Home building in absentia is stressful.
I've been in Minnesota for 5 days now. My sister and I played tourist the other day in St Paul and this picture is of the Capitol building, one of our stops. The weather was perfect, and we found plenty of things to do and see.
