1 baby shower, 1 family reunion, and 2 birthday parties later, I can say that our new house is broken in. It is most certainly a home that accommodates entertaining well. The kitchen in particular proved that a reunion of 42 was no big deal. We are blessed to be able to have such a home, and the friends and family to share it with us.

It's been a long time between posts, but I haven't been in my 'zone' lately. I've been a ping pong for March and April, but will be in the states all of May through the Grove family reunion on June 6. The new house will come in handy for that event, as will the pool.
For the last week I've have the Mirl's as guests here in Italy. They fly on airline passes, and had difficulty getting to Milan, which was hosting their annual furniture and design show. So I met them in Rome and we toured for 3 days there. Then 1 day in Milan, and the weekend in the Italian Alps.
A wonderful time was had by all, and until today, the weather cooperated. Due to the forecast, G and D are heading out tomorrow, as am I.
